Evan's Creek

Oil on canvas. Painted mostly from my mind and memory and a few photos for reference, I never pencil in or make a drawing first. I see in my mind what I want to paint and start painting it. The inspiration for this painting came while I was walking in Evans Creek Preserve with my son and his dog after Thanksgiving. The many fall leaves were actually easy and fun to paint. This is an area where I often go and take my watercolors and get quick studies.
