7 O'Clock Shadows

This was a study I painted from 7-8am on two consecutive mornings just north off Steamboat - a place I lived 30 years ago and love. I was attracted to the shadows on the hills and how quickly they were changing. Ranch and farm properties are endlessly fascinating to me - all the vehicles, junk and old buildings all have a story.
