Loving Dawn

oil on panel. Inspiration is the farmlands near where I live and loving the landscape as the sun rises and creates bold values and dramatic colours as the sun hits the trees. The scene is imaginary and originated with the desire to paint a farm scene at sunrise . The idea to create a peaceful feeling of a sunrise went through numerous changes as I put paint down and different things suggested themselves.
