Sunlit Waters

I hiked up to Memorial Falls while on a plein air trip. This is a studio piece from my field studies. The area used to have a lot of mining, and there are rich colors in the rocks in the stream. I am always fascinated with the movement and flow of water and it is one of my favorite subjects to paint
