While visiting friends in East Hampton I took a drive to a spot I had painted several years before. It was quite a breezy morning and the wind at the beach was even stronger. This, of course, enhanced the movement in the bushes, the sky and water making for a more dynamic painting . This is a 16" x 20" oil painting. I used my Plein air painting to recreate this larger studio version.
