The White Chair

The subject is an old white kitchen chair with repurposed leaky watering can as a pot for a dark pink geranium. The afternoon light was brilliant and at just the right angle to illuminate nearly every flower pedal. The under drawing for this painting was completed en plein aire but it was painted in studio due to a pop up thunderstorm.
