Oil on canvas. I woke up at 3:00 AM to get to location to set up to be ready to capture the beautiful pink salmon sunlight as it rose and splayed across the Santa Barbara Mission. I LOVED the interplay of the warm saturated lights with the cool shadows dancing across the walls of the building, its steps, and along the ground. It was a perfect moment. It was magical.
