I painted the watercolor, Danny Boy, during a 30 paintings in 30 day challenge. It is often hard to find daily subjects, but I had always had a desire to paint this once proud truck. I waited for a slightly rainy to help to accentuate the broken glass and texture of the truck. Upon completion of the painting, local folks started sharing the history of this amazing vehicle.
