A Tennessee Mountain Farm

We were driving down a single lane road in the mountains of Tennessee late in the afternoon when we spotted a dilapidated barn by the side of the road. It was still being used for farming with equipment being stored in it. Across the road was a field where the foundation of the farmhouse marked where it had once stood. Setting up our easels to paint the old barn, we were losing more and more light of the day. But the last rays of the sun still lit the barn and the vegetation around it.
