White Lilies on Pink

White lilies in a transparent glass vase set agains pink background. The hue of lilies was barely perceptive yellow-green and I liked to juxtapose it against delicate pink of a background. In the beginning I tinted the whole canvas with green-yellow color. Then I started to "carve out" the flowers by painting background around them. Then I blocked in the stems and leaves and painted vase last.
