Overlooking Oak Creek

“Overlooking Oak Creek “was painted in soft pastel on UArt paper. A photograph taken in late afternoon was the source of inspiration. I was intrigued by the mystery of the scene, a small amount of a home peeking from a forested setting, sitting above Oak Creek, in afternoon sun and deep shadows. I imagined hearing the creek, and wondered what could be seen from the windows.
