By The Grace

Oil on Canvas. Painted in my studio as an alternative to relapse with alcohol. I will never forget this sleepless night as I was convinced I was going to drink no matter what. The painting just seemed to paint itself. I felt I had to take a good look at myself and reflect on my life and how far I had come. The Painting you see before you is a direct reflection of a man loosing his mind while staring into the mirror. But then I signed it and the sun came up the next day and Im still sober today by the grace of god.
