Where the River Flows

This watercolor painting was inspired by the old rice trunk control gate along the PeeDee River of SC, this gate structure was once used as a water control mechanism to flood the old rice fields. I never get tired of the beauty of the river and the rivers relation to the once prosperous rice culture of South Carolina.
