This oil on Raymar canvas panel was completed in my back yard and studio. My focus has narrowed since the stay at home orders but luckily the weather has been perfect for my perennial garden. The beauty of flowers is fleeting so what is started outdoors often must be completed from photos in the studio. I was inspired by both Monet and Georgia O'Keeffe to paint my beautiful blossoms. This is a pink peony.
