Painted this en plein air while at Ponce's Inlet, part of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. My sister and I were painting next to each other. We had to keep moving our things back due to the tide sucking at our feet and our tripods. I am sure somewhere in the paint are specks of sand and echos of laughter. A very charming day of 80 degrees while it was -3 in Wisconsin where I live full time.
