It was the first warm day of Arizona spring weather. My sister and I made sure to not waste it. I painted this en plein air next to the Verde River, where the water was clear for once and I could see six little fish or so swimming about. I think this cute painting was worth the sunburn. I'll be sure to wear proper sun protection next time, or park my easel in the shade... 90% en plein air, touched up in studio.
